#CHTeacherTuesday

Brandon Verdi, 7th Grade English
How long have you been a teacher?
Seven years, all of them at Campbell Hall (first as a long-term substitute and now as a full-time faculty member).

What makes CH so special?
The people. Plain and simple. The people make the place. I am reminded each and every day how extraordinary the faculty and staff are at Campbell Hall by the million tiny acts of passion and outpourings of kindness on display in every room. These folks find joy in sharing and growing and doing. They spread their joy to each and every student in their care and it is truly infectious to be around. What a rare honor it is to be a part of a community like the one we build together within the walls of Campbell Hall.

Is there a quote or saying that you live by?
“If more of us valued food and cheer and song above hoarded gold, it would be a merrier world.”  J.R.R. Tolkien

I do believe that life is far too short to miss finding joy in the little things. The company of a friend. A joke. A home-cooked meal. Watching the evening light change as the sun fades behind the trees.

Share everything this world has gifted us with the people you love. That’s all there is.
