K-12 Curriculum

Campbell Hall has prioritized a K-12 curriculum inquiry and redesign to ensure that students understand and affirm the complexity of identity, appreciate the value of diversity, recognize barriers to equity at the systemic level, and take personal and collective action against prejudice, bias, and injustice.

Learning for Justice Anti-Bias Curriculum Standards

In 2019, Campbell Hall began a K-12 curriculum inquiry and revisioning to begin implementation of the Learning for Justice Anti-Bias Curriculum Standards in all three divisions. The anti-bias standards are broken into four domains- identity, diversity, justice, and action.

Faculty Professional Development

K-12 faculty take part in a host of different workshops and seminars, including Campbell Hall’s own Inclusion Institute and 3E: Equity and Engagement in Education. These programs prepare participants to become more aware of their own experiences with privilege and oppression and to listen more effectively to the experiences of others. Faculty are encouraged to strengthen relationships within the school and deepen their understanding about systemic injustice, equipping them with tools for anti-racist teaching, and ways in which we can collectively move toward racial equality.
