Professional Development Inspires Innovation in the Classroom

Campbell Hall emphasizes professional growth and development with opportunities to attend conferences, seminars, and educational sessions both outside and within the school.

In the 2018-19 school year, more than 100 faculty and staff participated in over 70 professional development opportunities. In addition, upon approval, faculty may also be reimbursed up to $20,000 tax-free for obtaining an advanced degree.

Continued professional development for faculty is vital for keeping educators updated on the latest advances in teaching strategies, emerging technology tools for the classroom, and new curriculum resources — all of which can positively impact student achievement. Professional development allows teachers to hone their craft, refresh their skills, and come back with new ideas that they can implement in the classroom as they model a love of lifelong learning.
