Ahmanson Library

The expansive 7,000 square foot Ahmanson Library serves the k-12 school community and features a collection of dynamic, current, diverse, and curriculum-based materials. The library’s print resources include nearly 10,000 fiction books, more than 17,000 non-fiction titles, and both print and online periodicals. Library collections for elementary and secondary school students are located in separate areas for ease of use and access for both the older and younger students.

The library includes a separate room designated solely for use by the elementary school. In this area, students are actively engaged by the librarian to nurture a love of literature as well as to develop and refine library and research skills. Special programs are held in this room including visits by well-known authors and storytellers. In addition to study areas, secondary students enjoy a comfortable seating area for relaxation, reading and conversation.
