    ADDITIONAL DROP-OFF AND PICK-UP INSTRUCTIONS

    • Families with students in multiple divisions, please use the loading area for your youngest student.
    • Passenger loading/unloading is allowed only in designated areas. The Spielberg Center Garage is not a passenger loading area, and valet is not to be used for drop-off or pick-up purposes. Special arrangements for passenger pick-up can be made by the Health Center as needed and will be communicated to security.
    • Parents must stay in vehicles in passenger loading zones.
    • Students must remain in the Passenger Holding Area during pick-up. Students may never walk unaccompanied to a car parked in a parking lot. Parents who park must walk to the designated Passenger Loading Area to pick up their student.
    • Outside of peak drop-off and pick-up times:
      • Elementary and middle school students must be signed out at their division office. Parents should park and walk to the office to pick up their student.
      • High school students with a valid gate pass may be picked up from the temporary High School Passenger Loading Area referenced above.

    RIDESHARING SERVICE POLICY

    • Campbell Hall is committed to sustainability and strongly encourages carpooling practices and the use of safe and well-vetted ridesharing services for students. We recommend that parents who wish to use a ridesharing service research one that has strong security practices for vetting drivers and that is specifically geared towards transporting children and teens, such as HopSkipDrive.
    • Unfortunately, due to policies instituted by ridesharing services such as Uber and Lyft that prohibit unaccompanied minors from riding in their vehicles, Campbell Hall does not permit these ridesharing companies onto campus to pick up or drop off students at any time.
  • Parent/Guardian & Visitor Parking

    • Spielberg Center Garage P1 & P2 and the Wash Lot are the designated parent/visitor parking areas.
    • FREE VALET SERVICE is offered in the Spielberg Center Garage P1 & P2 from 7:45 am - 4:15 pm on school days. Gratuity is included; please do not tip attendants.
    • After 1:00 pm on school days and on weekends, any non-reserved spot on campus is open for parent/visitor parking. If parking is full, please consult security guards for guidance.
    • EV PARKING in the Spielberg Center Garage P1 & P2 is free for faculty, staff, parents, and visitors conducting school business.
    • NEVER PARK, DROP OFF, OR PICK UP:
      • On surrounding neighborhood streets.
      • In reserved spaces or “No Parking” zones. Please read all posted signs, do not move or bypass barriers or cones, and observe red/yellow curbs and crosshatched areas.
      • In accessible parking spaces without a valid placard.
      • In a way that blocks another vehicle, especially in the Spielberg Center Garage (P1 & P2) when valet service is not available.
  • Pedestrians & Bicyclists

For students, faculty, and staff who live near Campbell Hall, walking or biking is an easy and sustainable way to commute to campus. To optimize pedestrian safety on and around campus, please note the following guidelines for pedestrians and bicyclists at Campbell Hall:

    • A valid CH student ID or proof of enrollment along with a photo ID will be required for entry. Elementary students must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
    • Spielberg Center Pedestrian Gate (Laurel Canyon): Open to pedestrians and bicyclists during school hours and is monitored by security.
    • Please use the crosswalk at Laurel Canyon/Landale. This is the safest crossing point for pedestrians/bicyclists and is monitored by a crossing guard. Avoid the dangerous crosswalk at the 101 freeway off-ramp on the north end of campus.
    • Bicycle racks are located near the south faculty center in the Spielberg Center. Bicycle parking is not permitted in the Spielberg Center Garage.
