Nowruz/Norouz (the Persian New Year)

On March 21, Nowruz/Norouz (the Persian New Year) was marked by a beautiful display in Carsey Gallery created by CH Persian families.
Each of the seven items displayed symbolize a particular meaning (Sumac for the color of the sunrise, vinegar for age and patience, dried fruit from a lotus tree for love, sweet pudding for affluence, sprouts for rebirth, apple for health and beauty, garlic for medicine).
