Across Colors Diversity Conference

A number of CH faculty, staff, and students attended The Independent School Alliance Across Colors Diversity Conference, a biennial conference which seeks to celebrate and empower students, parents, and faculty, staff, and administrators around issues of diversity, equity, and social justice.
The conference featured nationally renowned keynote speakers, Nikole Hannah-Jones, creator of The New York Times Magazine's 1619 project, and Clint Smith, Atlantic staff writer and author of How the Word Is Passed: A Reckoning With the History of Slavery Across America. In addition, attendees had the opportunity to participate in a number of engaging workshops.
