NY Times Vocabulary Contest Winner

Congratulations to Elizabeth L. ’27 who, out of 1,300 entries, was one of only 27 participants selected to receive an Honorable Mention in the 2023 New York Times Vocabulary contest!
All 8th grade students participated in the video project in which they created a 15-second video to define a challenging word. Elizabeth’s creativity and originality shine through in her fun, 90s goth-inspired video that defines “zeitgeist”!
