Meet the Faculty

Alex Miller

Middle School Science
Alex began her teaching career in 2009 in the NYC Department of Education. Prior to joining Campbell Hall in 2022, Alex taught at the Village Leadership Academy in Chicago, Milken Community Schools, and in the Las Virgenes Unified School District. Most recently, she taught at Futures Academy in Westlake Village. Alex holds a B.A. in English with a minor in Chemistry from the University of Michigan and an M.Ed. in Secondary Science Education Grades 5-9 from The City College of New York. Alex served as a New York City Teaching Fellow and as a National Oceanic and Atmospheric Association (NOAA) Teacher at Sea. She was a participant in the NASA-IPAC Teacher Archive Research Project (NITARP) and is a member of the Citizens’ Climate Lobby, an international nonpartisan environmental activism group.
