The Piper

The Piper student newspaper is published seven times a year and investigates and presents relevant and important topics to our school community. Nationally recognized by the Columbia Scholastic Press Association, The Piper prides itself on the impact its journalists make on the life of the school.
Truth, objectivity and accuracy are the primary goals of all staff members. Journalists uphold the right to express unpopular opinions or to agree with the majority, and will never gather information in an inappropriate or unethical manner. Furthermore, The Piper is intended to serve as a forum for student voices. Advertisements follow the same scrutiny as all other material in the paper. Advertisements are free of statements, illustrations, and implications that are offensive to good taste or public decency based upon the opinion of the staff.
