Charlee Corra, 9th grade biology and CHAI Environmental Science Honors
How long have you been a teacher? 3 years (joining Campbell Hall in the 2021-22 school year).
What makes CH so special? What makes CH so special is its strong sense of community. I graduated in 2009 and now, returning as a teacher, many of my colleagues are my former teachers. And so many teachers are alumni. Countless faculty and staff have been working at CH for several decades. People stick around. People come back. I believe that all of this speaks volumes about the strength and cohesiveness of our community. There is so much love, care and support emanating from each and every person, creating a strong and complex web that holds everyone up and allows us all to be the best versions of ourselves.
What are your hobbies? My hobbies include any physical activity that will get me outside in nature. Most of the time this means rock climbing, but I also love ice climbing, hiking, mountain biking, slacklining, scuba diving, kayaking/canoeing, and just walking around identifying plants and animals. Other hobbies would definitely include spending time with my family and friends (shoutout to my brother Aidan D. ‘22!), playing guitar, singing to Alanis Morissette, and cooking/baking.
