Close Up on Environmental Issues

Internationally renowned director, writer and producer, Jeremy Kagan, gave a virtual lecture in Mr. Frank’s CHAI Environmental Science classes on advances in environmental technology such as renewable energy.
Mr. Kagan is a USC professor at the School of Cinematic Arts and, in addition to numerous award-winning movies and box-office hits, he has made films for Bioneers and Treepeople, both organizations committed to sustainability, as well as educational videos on environmental issues. He is also the founder of the Change Making Media Lab, created to foster positive social and environmental change by producing strategic high-impact cinema and television, to inspire individuals, organizations, and communities into action. The students appreciated Mr. Kagan’s energy and enthusiasm for a topic that is important not just to the students in the class, but to us all.
