Affinity Gathering Hosted by SoCal PoCIS
On November 7, the SoCal PoCIS (Southern California People of Color in Independent School) organization hosted an affinity gathering.
Participants heard from Dr. Steven Jones and Dr. Shelly Tochluk about confronting anti-Blackness and tackling systemic racism in schools before spending time in racial affinity groups.
