Boys' Volleyball Dominates Providence Tournament

Varsity Boys' Volleyball had an oustanding weekend, going 4-1 and competing in the Championship Bracket of the Providence Tournament!

The Vikings started off hot - sweeping Friday, beating all three apponents 2-0.  The boys first win was over Temple City, 25-23, 25-17.  Win number two came over Ontario Christian 26-24, 25-23.  To complete the sweep, the Vikings beat Village Christian 25-11, 25-18.  All three wins propelled the Vikings into the Championship Bracket of the tournament.

Saturday opened with a tough loss to Flintridge Prep in three - 17-25, 25-17, 11-15.  The Vikings bounced back, however, finishing the day beating host school Providence, 18-25, 25-16, 15-8.

Senior Jack Candido was named to the All-Tournament team for his outstanding play during the Vikings five games.

Varsity Boys' Volleyball has started their 2020 campaign strong, posting a 6-1 record to begin the season.  Great start Vikings, keep it up!
