Meet the Faculty

Freda Yoshioka

Secondary World Language, Japanese
Freda began teaching at Campbell Hall in 1998. Previously, she taught high school Japanese at Osaka Sangyo University, Los Angeles. Freda has served as the President of the California Association of Japanese Language Teaching (CAJLT) and as a judge at the All USA Japanese Speech Contest. Freda holds a B.A. in Humanities from Northwestern University, a California single-subject credential in Japanese from California State University, Long Beach, and an M.A. in Foreign Language Teaching from Michigan State University.
