Shawn began teaching in 1987 at Harvard School for Boys (before it merged to become Harvard-Westlake School in 1992). Prior to joining Campbell Hall in 2014, he was the Middle School Math & Science Department Chair and Grades 7-12 Math Department Chair at Milken Community Schools for 22 years. Shawn received the Milken Family Foundation Outstanding Teaching Award, Japan Fulbright Memorial Fund Scholarship, and The Johns Hopkins University Teaching Fellowship. Shawn received his B.S. in Chemical Engineering and his M.A. in Education from the University of California, Los Angeles.
