The Fifth Grade Raises Money for A Water Filtration System for Our Sister School in St Jacques
Campbell Hall has had a long-standing relationship with our sister schools in Haiti, just outside of Port de Paix. This year, fifth grade is raising money for a specific project, which is to install a water filtration system at St. Jacques School.
With a water filtration system, St Jacques will not only meet the needs of its students and faculty, but it will be able to sell water to the surrounding community, thereby raising much needed funds for teachers’ salaries, books, and other necessities. Wastewater will also be used to irrigate their farm, and the produce from that farm will be sold to the community to continue to support the school.
