Campbell Hall’s dedicated professionals are here to support all students and their families with a host of services to address social, emotional, spiritual, mental health, and identity related needs as well as with coordinating academic support services and resources.   • Andy Shaw

    Director of Counseling
    Prior to joining Campbell Hall in 2021, Andy served as Director of Wellness at St. Francis High School for six years. Previous to that he worked in Student Mental Health & Counseling at the University of Southern California for five years and at Didi Hirsch Mental Health Center for four years. Andy holds a B.S. in Psychology from University of California, Los Angeles and an M.S. in Clinical Psychology from San Francisco State University. He is a Licensed Family Therapist (LMFT).

  • Alex Stern

    Elementary School Counselor
    Alex began counseling in 2014 at Culver City Middle School. Prior to joining Campbell Hall in 2022, she served as the school counselor at Lincoln Middle School, Louisville High School and later at Wildwood School. Alex holds a B.A. in English from the University of California, Santa Barbara and an M.A in Counseling from Loyola Marymount University. She is also an Associate Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC).

  • Daniele Fee

    Associate School Counselor
    Daniele began working at Campbell Hall in 2015 as a health coordinator and later, an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT). While working full-time at Campbell Hall, she became passionate about understanding the connection between body, mind, and spirit. Daniele completed her traineeship at Family Service Agency of Burbank where she worked with clients ranging from 8-18 years old while receiving her M.A. in Psychology with a combined emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy and Professional Clinical Counseling. She is a registered Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (AMFT).

  • Joseph Courtney

    High School Chaplain
    Prior to joining Campbell Hall in 2018, Chaplain Courtney worked at Fred Finch Youth Center in Berkeley, California helping transitional aged youth experiencing homelessness. He received his B. A. in Religion from Maryville College in Maryville, TN and his M.Div. from Church Divinity School of the Pacific in Berkeley, CA.

  • The Rev. Canon Norman Hull

    Chaplain, K-8
    Human Development, K-8
    Norman began teaching in 1995 at St. Michael and All Angel's Episcopal Day School. Prior to joining Campbell Hall in 2002, Norman was the Rector of St. Mark's Episcopal Church in Van Nuys. Norman received a B.A. in Economics from Claremont McKenna College and M.Div. from The Church Divinity School of the Pacific in Berkeley.

  • Dr. Courtney Behrenhausen

    Director of Educational Support Services
    7th Grade English Teacher
    Courtney began teaching at Campbell Hall in 1995. She holds a B.A. in Political Science and English Literature from Amherst College, J.D. from Loyola Law School, and Psy.D. from Chicago School of Professional Psychology.

  • Cassandra Cando

    High School Director of Educational Support Services
    Cassandra began her career in education in 2006, teaching English to children in Japan as part of the Amity corporation. She later transitioned to the nonprofit organization The Help Group which provides services to children with special needs related to autism spectrum disorder, learning disabilities, ADHD, developmental delays, and abuse and emotional challenges. Cassandra has also worked at Calabasas High School and for the Culver City Unified School District. Most recently, she served as the Learning Specialist for Crossroads School. Cassandra holds a B.A. in Sociology from the University of California, Santa Cruz as well as special education credential and M.S. from National University. She is a Board Certified Educational Therapist.

  • Christopher Dennis

    Associate Head of Community Engagement
    A founding consultant of the Campus Culture Group, Christopher recently served as the Director of the Hamoui Family Sage Center at Sage Center School in Newport Coast, CA. Prior to joining Sage Hill School, he served as the Director of Equity and Diversity at the Collegiate School of New York. This role followed his appointment as Associate Dean of Students and Director of Case Management at Scripps College in Claremont, CA, and Assistant Dean of Student Affairs at Bowdoin College in Brunswick, Maine. In each role, Christopher has remained engaged with students in and beyond the classroom. His experience includes faculty and staff recruitment, NCAA Division I and II coaching and recruitment, enrollment management, international relations, diversity, equity and inclusion initiatives, and outcomes-driven program design and policy adherence.

    Additionally, he has spent a decade advancing diverse student access and equity in Southern California through organizations such as A Better Chance, Inc. He has served on the boards of the National Black MBA Association’s L.A. chapter and Project Onyx Youth Leadership Institute. He is a current Academy of the Mind Charter School board member and a dedicated advocate for inclusive school communities.

  • Toya Holiday

    Co-Director of Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Justice K-12
    Elementary School Athletic Director
    Toya began teaching in 1986 at Los Angeles Unified School District’s John F. Kennedy High School. Prior to joining Campbell Hall in 1999, she taught at Lincoln Parish District in Ruston, Louisiana. Toya holds a B.S. in Business Administration from United States International.

  • Sarah Huss

    Co-Director of Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Justice K-12
    Director of Human Development & Parent Education
    In addition to continuing on in her role as Director of Human Development, Sarah Huss also serves as the Co-Director of Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Justice along with Toya Holiday. Sarah has served as Campbell Hall's Director of Human Development & Parent Education for the past seven years. Prior to joining Campbell Hall in 2001, Sarah was a Labor Organizer for the California Nurses Association. Sarah holds a B.S. in Education and Social Policy from Northwestern University and M.A. in Clinical Psychology from Antioch University.
