Community Sunday

ALL-SCHOOL DAY OF SERVICE OUTREACH

This year’s Community Sunday, held on campus on May 4 and organized by CH parents Mary Kochones, Rosanna Bilow, and Amy Wachsberger, was themed “Let's Grow Together”. K-12 students and their families donated much-needed items and engaged in meaningful activities to benefit nonprofit organizations on this incredible day of outreach and service.

  • What to Donate

    • 1st Grade Booth – bring old, colorful, clean t-shirts for making dog toys and bring dog treats
    • 5th Grade Booth – bring new or gently used children’s books (for grades K-8)
    • Middle School Booth – bring new or gently used Video Consoles, Video Games or Board Games

  • What to Do

    • Face Painting ($5)
    • Friendship bracelet making ($5)
    • Photo Booth ($2)
    • Enjoy listening to an amazing playlist on the green top
    • Tattoos ($2)

  • What to Buy

    • 1st Grade: Dog Toys and Dog Treats ($5)
    • 2nd Grade: Herbs in hand painted pots ($5)
    • 3rd Grade: Lemonade including ice tea and other beverages ($2)
    • 4th Grade: Baked goods (Prices Vary)
    • 5th Grade: Bookmarks ($2)
    • 6th Grade: Flower Arrangements (starting at $10)
    • Popcorn Stand ($2)

    Food Trucks / Coffee Cart
    Tickets are not accepted. Prices Vary, 10% of the Proceeds will go to Children's Hospital Los Angeles
