Join us at this community event for all K-12 families, featuring our Back-to-School Family Chapel, New Family Welcome, Family Affinity Group Kickoff, and Involvement Fair.     Summer Reading Bingo Returns! 
    This summer, the Ahmanson Library will again sponsor an optional Summer Reading Bingo Challenge for all rising 1st through 6th grade students.

    Bingo cards are available on the Ahmanson Library tile on myCH (login required) – click the elementary school button – and at the library circulation desk.

    Students are invited to complete at least one bingo (one book per square), return their form to Ms. DeWitt, elementary school librarian, at the beginning of school in the fall and receive a prize! Happy reading! 

    Summer Reading Checkout!
    Relax with a good book this summer! The library will be open Monday, June 16 – Friday, August 8 from 9:00 am - 1:30 pm for students (with their parent/guardian) to return and check out new books. The library will be closed on June 19 and July 4. Full operating hours will resume on Monday, August 25. If you have any questions, please call the library at 818.505.5312.
  • Parent Mindfulness Group Summer Events + Upcoming Dates

    All parents are warmly invited to join the Parent Mindfulness Group (PMG) for these summer events:
    • The Parent Mindfulness Book Group will meet at 1 pm on June 24, July 15, and August 5. For more details, please email Simone James (P ’27).
    • The PMG will gather for a labyrinth walk (location TBD) on Saturday, August 16 from 11 am - 1 pm. For updates, please email Katie Bull.
    The PMG’s 2025-26 sessions will begin on Tuesday, September 2. More information will be shared closer to the start of the school year.
  • From the Admissions Office: Early Decision Info for 2026-27

    For our sibling families, faculty, and staff who plan to apply to grades K, 7, and 9 for the 2026-27 school year, we will be offering an early decision option. To be eligible for early decision, applicants must apply by September 30, 2025, and must complete an interview and submit all paperwork (recommendation forms and a transcript) by October 24, 2025. Early decision notifications will be sent in the first week of December. For all other applicants, our decisions will be released on March 13, 2026. For more information, please contact the admissions office.
