College Admissions Summer Intensive

for rising 12th graders
(5-DAY WORKSHOP)
The Campbell Hall College Admissions Summer Intensive (CASI) offers a complete approach to building a college application. The small student/faculty-counselor ratio enhances the effectiveness and intimacy of our program. Each day the students will draft their essays and writing supplements with an English teacher for two hours, and will work with his/her college counselor for another two hours. Students will also meet individually with college counselors and teachers throughout the week.

The counselors will direct the students through more in-depth college research while refining their list of colleges to which they are applying; help students understand how to complete each part of the Common Application, as well as the UC and Coalition applications, and will review their progress; and teach students about important details surrounding the general college process as well as the internal steps required at CH. Students will make substantial progress on the completion of their applications.

This five-day program is most appropriate for seniors who are applying to private and/or public colleges or universities (especially students who plan to apply Early Decision and/or Early Action) using the Common Application. We will briefly address the UC and CSU applications and the process that they use. Early registration is strongly encouraged, as the program fills up every year. We will have waitlist. We have made a concerted effort to schedule CASI so as not to conflict with other Campbell Hall summer activities, but please check the dates before signing up, as daily attendance is mandatory. A confirmation email will be sent from College Counseling at the end of June. (NOTE: Space is limited.)
