Making Math Count

Each year, Campbell Hall’s middle school math team participates in the American Mathematics Competition (AMC), MathCounts Competition, and Continental Math League (CML). These friendly competitions are aimed at igniting student interest in mathematics, challenging them to solve complex math problems.
Optional for students who want to challenge themselves in math outside the classroom, participants engage in rigorous problem-solving activities that test their analytical skills and creativity. Throughout the year, the math team meets regularly to practice and prepare for these contests, fostering a collaborative environment where students can support one another and deepen their understanding of mathematical concepts.

In past years, Campbell Hall’s math team members have earned top scores and recognition, demonstrating their hard work and enthusiasm for mathematics. Beyond the competitions, these experiences help students develop confidence, critical thinking abilities, and a lifelong appreciation for math.
