Filmmakers Recognized in Prestigious Festival

Three students from Danny Gámez’s Advanced Video Production class were named Official Selections in the nation’s premier high school film festival, the All-American High School Film Festival (AAHSFF).
Chosen from thousands of entries, the films of Milo M. ‘26 (The Runaway Cowboy), James M. ’26 (Mexican Reggae), and Jack S. ’26 (Joe Guerrero – A Boxing Story) were screened and competed at the AMC Empire 25 in Times Square in October. All three honorees traveled to New York for the festival and awards ceremony. While in Manhattan, the three also shot a short film to compete in an invitational challenge.
