In February 1960, 29-year-old Woman of the Year in Aviation, Jerrie Cobb, began a series of tests to determine whether women were qualified for spaceflight. As Jerrie undergoes almost 10 hours in a sensory deprivation tank, she remembers her journey as a young aspiring pilot in Oklahoma, her relationship with her family, the obstacles she has overcome as a female pilot, and her deep, spiritual connection to the sky and beyond.
