Dr. Kelly Fast ’86
An Astronomer Who is Out of This World
Astronomer Dr. Kelly Fast ’86 is the Program Manager for the Near-Earth Object Observations Program in NASA's Planetary Defense Coordination Office at NASA Headquarters in Washington, DC. Her team is tasked with finding asteroids that may impact our planet “before they find us” and coordinating with U.S. interagency and international agencies to study and plan a response for such potential threats.
