AsEA (Asian Educators Alliance) Conference

CH History teacher Dr. Susie An led a workshop titled "Uncovering Sources of Asian American Solidarity, Dismantling Perceptions of Privilege" at the AsEA (Asian Educators Alliance) Conference.
Dr. An focused on going beyond the purview of the Model Minority myth by directly and concurrently unraveling many other "Orientalisms" (i.e. yellow peril, mass horde, enemy invader, alien enemy, Dragon Lady, etc).
