OMAR

Class of 2024
Pacoima Middle School
San Fernando High School
UCSB
Omar applied to the program when he was in the sixth grade at Pacoima Middle School. He grew up with a love of learning and a curiosity to learn more about the world. His mentors in the Campbell Scholars Program encouraged him to pursue his curiosity, which he did often by visiting the public library in his neighborhood. After attending Pacoima Middle School, Omar applied for the Magnet program at San Fernando. Throughout high school, Omar worked diligently inside and outside of the classroom. He enjoyed his humanities classes and running for the track team. Omar is currently in his first year at the University of California, Santa Barbara.
