Dr. Melissa Noel, High School Science
Subject(s) You Teach/Title/Department: Biology Honors and Chemistry

How long have you been a teacher?
This is my 11th year as a high school teacher.

How long have you been teaching at Campbell Hall?
This is my 4th year teaching science at Campbell Hall.

What do you love most about teaching at Campbell Hall?
There are so many things that I love about teaching at Campbell Hall! But what I love most is working and interacting with our students. Their dedication and drive inspires me every day to be the best version of myself that I can be. I also love working and spending time with my incredible colleagues who are so talented. They have helped me grow leaps and bounds these last few years. Their support, encouragement, and patience has shown me how to be a more empathetic teacher. I could not be in a better school.

What do you love to do outside of school/what are your hobbies?
I love cooking! I’m from Puerto Rico and it’s been hard finding Caribbean restaurants in LA so I try to whip up some of my favorite dishes, like arroz con pollo, whenever I can. I also like to jog after school, which helps me relax and decompress from the busy day.
