Alumna receives First Place in prestigious Hearst Journalism Awards Program
Congratulations to Cambria Haro ’15 who won First Place for two of her Television Features in the 2019-2020 Hearst Journalism Awards Program. Founded in 1960, the Hearst Journalism Awards Program provides scholarships to college-level students for outstanding journalistic performances. Cambria’s award-winning pieces focus on the personal journeys of two inspirational people who triumph over extraordinary odds. Cambria is a recent graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a degree in Media & Journalism and a Certificate in Sports Broadcasting. To watch Cambria’s pieces, click here.
