Frequently Asked Questions

Why is participation important?
  • CH NOW: The Campbell Hall Annual Fund is the school's highest fundraising priority. As with all independent schools, tuition alone does not cover the costs of running the school. CH NOW makes up a meaningful portion of the operating budget. It is crucial that we attain our goal each and every year so that the programs and resources our students rely on are not compromised. Donations of every size matter and directly support this year's operating budget, benefiting all students.

Your contribution is also a powerful statement to foundations and corporations as they make decisions about supporting the school through grants. Strong participation signals to foundations that our parents are invested in the school, which increases our chances of receiving outside funding.

Who benefits from the CH NOW?
  • Your tax-deductible donation is a direct investment in our dedicated faculty, challenging and inclusive curricula, innovative programs, and state-of-the-art facilities, which immediately support and benefit every student's daily experience.

When should we make our CH NOW donation?
  • We ask that you send in your donation or pledge by December 31 each year. Making your commitment early in the school year provides actual budget dollars instead of budget projections, allowing us to remain flexible in meeting current needs.

A payment can be established on a monthly, quarterly, or semiannual basis, allowing you to break up your commitment over time. You can also make a pledge to pay a lump sum amount on a date of your choosing. All donations and pledge payments must be completed by June 30.
Who contributes to CH NOW?
  • We ask that all members of the community – parents, board members, alumni, grandparents, parents of alumni, faculty, and staff – contribute a meaningful donation to the CH NOW. Your donation makes a difference!

Is my donation tax-deductible?
  • Yes! Your donation is tax-deductible to the fullest extent of the law (Federal Tax ID Number: 951716787).

What is the Head of School Circle?
  • The Head of School Circle is a CH NOW leadership giving level. Donors giving at this level and above are invited to attend a reception with the Head of School and members of the Board of Directors each spring to honor their generosity.
