Soccer sweeps the CH Soccer Extravaganza!

It was a great night for Campbell Hall Soccer who swept all three games of our Campbell Hall Soccer Extravaganza!

JV Boys got the night started off right with a 4-2 win over Alemany.  The Vikings scored all four of their goals in the first half!  Aidan Michaels scored two of the Vikings goals, Blaze Isayan contributed one of his own and Owen Pallenberg capped of the scoring with his own goal.

Varsity continued the night with a great 1-0 win over Alemany.  Senior keeper Jake Rothman made some incredible stops, including a full out dive to save a shot that would have tied the game in the second half.  Senior Marcelo Navarro and sophomore Charlie Henriks made some incredible defensive stops that stopped the momentum Alemany thought they were gaining.  It was with about 12 minutes to go in the game, though, that things really went the Vikings way - Jesse Goldberg scored a goal just inside the box to make the score 1-0, and finalize the win.

Varsity girls then began their campaign for the Campbell Hall sweep, playing Archer to cap off the night.  Olivia Reiner got the Vikings on the board with a tremendous kick close to the goal in the chaos of the play - Abby Zoldan assisted on the play.  Kara Stark put things out of reach for Archer in the second half with a goal of her own.

Tremendous showing from all of our high school soccer players last night! Great job Vikings!
