Alumna receives scholarship for marine conservation research
Congratulations to Sara Rosenblatt ’11 who received a scholarship from the Rachel Morrison Memorial Fund for her continued work in marine conservation. Sara is an M.S. candidate at San Diego State University studying marine ecology. Before attending graduate school, Sara earned a B.S. in Aquatic Biology at the University of California Santa Barbara where she was an avid AAUS scientific diver. She also worked as a divemaster in St. Croix, U.S. Virgin Islands. Sara’s current master’s research focuses on how native California fish species are responding to an algal invasion, particularly at juvenile life stages. After graduate school, she plans to continue to work as a research diver on conservation-based research projects.
