Meet the Faculty

Dr. Amanda Dye

High School Science
Amanda began teaching in 2011 at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill where she taught Environmental Physics and Computational Modeling. She also served as the Director of Mentoring Programs and as a Postdoctoral Research Associate. Amanda has published her work on the physics of fluid flow in porous media in four peer-reviewed articles and two book chapters. Amanda received her B.S.E in Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering from the University of Michigan, her M.S.E.E. in Environmental Sciences and Engineering from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and her Ph.D. in Environmental Sciences and Engineering from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
