Meet the Faculty

Judith DeWitt

Elementary School Librarian
Judith began her career in 1983 teaching primary students in the Berkeley Unified School District. Prior to joining Campbell Hall in 2007, she served as the Librarian at St. James Episcopal School for nine years. Previously, she taught 4th-6th grades in the Oakland Unified School District and was the Manager of School Partnerships, Teacher Trainer, and Writer/Editor of Curriculum and Training Designs for The Galef Institute, a nonprofit educational organization in Los Angeles working to accelerate school reform nationwide by strengthening the teaching profession. Judith holds a B.S. in Elementary Education from the University of Vermont, where she received the Sally Ann Hall Award for excellence in elementary education, an M.A. in Psychology from John F. Kennedy University, and a California Multiple Subject Clear Credential.
