Meet the Faculty

Dr. Melissa Noel

High School Science
Melissa began teaching in 2009 at the Collegiate Institute of Math and Science in New York City. Prior to joining Campbell Hall in 2016, she taught Biology at the Shalhevet High School, Bard High School Early College in Newark, and in the New York City public school system. She also taught Spanish for an organization with a focus on homeschooling. Melissa published an original research paper in the scholarly, peer-reviewed journal, Proceedings of the National Academy of Science. She holds a B.S. in Biology from The University of Puerto Rico, Rio Piedras Campus, Ph.D. in Neurobiology from The Rockefeller University, and M.A. in Secondary Science Education from Hunter College.
