The Class of 2020 Endowment Fund

WE DID IT!

CONGRATULATIONS TO THE CLASS OF 2020 FOR BEING THE FIRST SENIOR CLASS TO ESTABLISH AN ENDOWMENT FUND IN THEIR CLASS NAME.

We surpassed our goal of $100,000 raising $104,051. Thank you to the 75 families of seniors who made a gift to this fund both expressing their appreciation for how important the school has been to their children's growth and insuring that future Vikings receive the same quality education their children did. This new endowment fund supports Campbell Hall’s financial aid program, helping maintain a socio-economically diverse school that broadens the perspective of every member of our community.

  • WHAT IS THE SENIOR CLASS LEGACY GIFT?

The first SENIOR CLASS LEGACY GIFT is a new tradition started by the Class of 2020. Each gift goes to support The Class of 2020 Endowment Fund and is an opportunity for the families of seniors to commemorate their time at Campbell Hall. This new endowment fund will support Campbell Hall’s financial aid program, helping maintain a socio-economically diverse school that broadens the perspective of every member of our community.
  • WHAT IS AN ENDOWMENT?

The principal of an endowment is invested in perpetuity and largely remains intact, allowing it to grow over time. A percentage can be used for Campbell Hall’s yearly expenses to fund everything from faculty salaries and benefits to financial aid to campus improvements.
  • HOW DOES THE SENIOR CLASS LEGACY GIFT DIFFER FROM THE CH FUND?

The Campbell Hall Annual Fund (CH Fund) donations are an immediate investment in the school’s yearly operating budget and support the current priorities of the school. The Senior Class Legacy Gift raises much-needed endowment funds in the name of each graduating class. Gifts to the endowment are invested to preserve the principal for the long-term while the investment income is used to supplement the annual operating budget. We ask that these one-time special gifts made to The Class of 2020 Endowment Fund are above and beyond your Campbell Hall Annual Fund gift.
  • WHAT IS THE GOAL FOR THE CLASS OF 2020?

In order to establish this named fund, we must raise $100,000 or more. Please give as generously as you can, but please know that gifts of any size are greatly appreciated. Please help us reach our goal of 100% participation.
  • HOW WILL MY GIFT BE RECOGNIZED?

All gifts will be acknowledged in our yearly Annual Report. Donors of $5,000 and above will be invited to a special Headmaster’s Dinner reception on May 28, 2020*. Donors of $1,000 are invited to attend a special donor appreciation event on March 5, 2020*.

*To attend the above receptions, please ensure your gift is made prior to the event date.
