  • Hurray for Challah!

    Challah Bread Baking

Join host Vardit Luzon for a hands-on party of Challah bread baking and sweet treats, just in time for the Jewish Holidays!

SIGN UP / SEE WHO'S COMING

What is Challah? The braided Challah, which is made with eggs, is the Jewish Sabbath and holiday bread. The pure word challah means “a loaf of bread.” Very simple!

In this class, we will make our dough, let it rise, and learn braiding patterns to create a beautiful and delicious loaf of homemade Challah. As your dough rises, we will make cinnamon and Nutella pastries as well as a berry and meringue dessert. Then you'll bake your loaf and enjoy it warm out of the oven. All levels welcome!

Hosted by: Vardit Luzon (Shira ’26)
    Location: Virtual via Zoom
    Date: September 16, 2020
    Time: 5:00 - 7:00 PM
Registration: $50 per screen (up to 2 people per screen: 1 adult and 1 child, or 2 adults - must have an adult present)
