Campbell Hall Summer Camps offer a variety of activities for campers in grades K-8 on our beautiful 15-acre campus located in Studio City, as well as engaging afternoon virtual programs. All of our programs are available to the public!
The staff at the Championship Basketball Camp is committed to teaching the fundamentals of the game (dribbling, passing, shooting, defense, and the basics of team offense) and operating a camp that will be an enjoyable experience for each and every participant. Each day of camp will feature instruction, skill development, and competitive games (if possible). Campers will be grouped by size, age, and ability. Facilities include indoor and outdoor courts. Campers will rotate venues throughout the day.

At Vikings Cheer Camp we are all about school spirit! Our belief is that with the proper training, anyone can learn to cheer. That’s why at Vikings Cheer Camp we are accepting boys and girls who have an interest in cheerleading. This camp is designed to teach campers at any skill level the fundamentals of cheerleading. Campers will be broken into groups by age and skill level to help cater to each camper’s needs. Each camper will be given the basic fundamentals in cheer motions, techniques, jumps, stunts and dance. Most importantly, Viking Cheer Camp is about having fun! So come join us for a week filled with excitement, new friends and school spirit. GO VIKINGS!

This camp provides an opportunity for young flag football players to improve their football technique, make new friends, and have fun. Campers will have the opportunity to develop their skills in all areas of the game as they are led through drills and activities by experienced and caring counselors.

Campers will have the opportunity to work on basketball fundamentals, strength and conditioning, and basic coordination, by taking part in exciting and motivating drills aimed at developing each camper’s proficiency in the areas of dribbling, shooting, and rebounding. The staff emphasizes the importance of being a team player as they teach strategy and general game knowledge. Campers will be grouped by size, age, and ability.

Campers will have the opportunity to work on improving their soccer fundamentals and techniques in a safe and fun-filled environment. Throughout each week, participants develop their proficiency in soccer by taking part in exciting and motivating drills designed to foster teamwork, self-confidence, and a joy for the game.

This camp provides an opportunity to learn and play a variety of non-traditional games such as: capture the flag, kickball, ga ga ball, 4 square, handball, jump rope, hula hoops, doctor dodgeball, and throw and catch as well as traditional games such as basketball, football, and soccer. Coach Buller and his staff will fill the day with a variety of age appropriate activities that are sure to thrill campers of all ages. (SPACE IS LIMITED).

The goal of the Championship Tennis Camp is to expose campers to the basics of tennis and encourage them to play the sport throughout their lifetime. Daily activities will focus on forehands, backhands, volleys, and serves in an encouraging and enthusiastic environment that promotes cooperation and sportsmanship. We will also play games as a group to foster teamwork and fair play while also providing a positive atmosphere where children can feel successful and have fun!

Campers will have the opportunity to develop strong fundamental skills, knowledge of the game, and the confidence and communication skills necessary to participate successfully at more advanced levels. The camp is conducted by former players and current coaches with experience at both the high school and collegiate level, who combine their expertise to create a supportive and instructional environment where campers can have fun while they learn.

If you love comic books then this is your chance to create your own!! Discover what makes a great comic book and how to put your own ideas down. Have fun drawing anything: superheroes, villains, princesses, and knights. We'll pencil, ink, and draw until we create an original comic book.

Campbell Hall’s CREATIVE ARTS ACADEMY is finally back with all of your favorite teachers and theatrical activities! This special camp offers students of all levels a fun and encouraging environment, allowing each child the opportunity to discover and celebrate his or her own inherent skills, talents, and artistic expression. It’s time to reconnect, to create, and to gather once again as a community of artists.
Students entering Grades K-2 (LOWER DIVISION): Two 2-week sessions with theater, music, movement, yoga, outdoor games and activities, free play, and art projects. Each session culminates with the filming of a mini-play and an art museum (both different each session) that will be shared with parents and friends at home. The staff will include Campbell Hall teachers and professional guest artists, as always.
Students entering Grades 3-8 (UPPER DIVISION): One 3-week session with a focus on acting, singing, dancing, improvisation, and music classes. This dance intensive is designed for those dancers looking to maintain, extend and improve their technique over the summer months. A daily emphasis will be on ballet & contemporary technique, stretch/conditioning, proper stage and dance etiquette, as well as preparation of repertory. Beginning dancers will enjoy arts and crafts, pantomime, and lessons in musicality. Intermediate to advanced dancers will enjoy studying stage makeup, famous ballet solos and variations. Prior knowledge of Vagonova Ballet technique is a plus—there is no pre-audition for this intensive, but students will be divided into ability groups the first day of the program.

Teacher, entertainer and Magic Castle member Jason Rowland leads your student on a week-long adventure in learning to write routine and perform magic, balloon art, juggling, stand-up comedy, and more. The emphasis is on having a ton of fun in a stress-free and encouraging environment. The outcome is improved social skills, an increase in focus, new found confidence and a huge smile. This special camp attracts a wide age range so it should be noted that students will be grouped by age in all classes and course material will be age appropriate. Students will never be forced to perform and prior experience is NOT a pre-requisite.

Create your own story and bring it to life using clay and stop motion animation. Campers will be introduced to the art of animation and will be guided through the animation process in a simple, step-by-step, fashion, making great movies to share. We’ll end the week with a screening of animators’ projects.

Campers at the Engineering Exploration camp will be introduced to the engineering design process as a problem-solving tool and will explore the idea that they, as engineers, can design and improve technology. As students work through their engineering design challenges, they will have the opportunity to build problem-solving, teamwork, communication, and creative-thinking skills. This curriculum is designed to provide a fun learning opportunity for kids!

This camp is designed to help players of all levels cultivate their chess skills, expand upon campers’ existing knowledge of the game, and promote greater confidence. Players will review the basics of the game, including rules, the history of chess, terminology, and etiquette, while also working towards mastering opening principles and developing end-game strategies. Campers will have the opportunity to participate in friendly tournaments too!

Have you ever wanted to invent a game or tell your own story? With digital and analog tools at our fingertips it’s never been easier to be a creator of adventures. Entertain yourself and your friends, while learning elements of writing and computer science. No prior tech experience necessary, but bravery and imagination are required.

Learn programming and design using the free Scratch platform. Grow your understanding of design and programming logic without typing any code. Have fun with your peers as you share and play with your creations under the guidance of experienced teachers. Instructions will be emailed to campers prior to the start of camp.
Equipment needed: A device with a keyboard and an internet connection. This program functions on an iPad, though it does function better on a laptop or desktop.

Does your child love strategic games? At this strategy gaming camp we teach students in grades 3-8 how to outplay their opponent by utilizing fast thinking skills and calculations. We will play online versions of games such as Chess, Monopoly, Uno, Connect Four, and our main focus will be an App Based Gaming. Your children will need to use their own devices and we will let you know which apps to install prior to the start of camp.
