The CAPS program offers a unique six-week arts program that brings together professional artists and teachers with creative students to share their love of the arts and to learn from one another. The program encourages children to develop their creative potential, confidence and self-discipline.

Students aged 7-13 (Upper Division) choose from more than 40 multi-arts (visual and performing) curriculum courses with a 8:1 student/faculty ratio. Set and tech design and set painting and props classes will also be available to those campers who prefer to create behind the scenes. Students at this level have the opportunity to take a total of ten different workshops* during the six week program, selecting five courses to take each day. The creative goals of CAPS will be realized during “The Big Show” featuring all of our performing arts workshops, and on Festival Day, July 29, 2010, where all campers exhibit and/or perform the projects they have been working on all summer. The drama department will also present the wonderful Broadway musical: “Seussical”, which is based on Dr. Seuss's beloved characters.

The Lower Division I & II (for five- and six-year olds) offers two three-week programs which give campers the opportunity to work with art, drama, dance and music specialists. Children are encouraged to experience the full six weeks as an ongoing experience.

Cost:
Upper Division (6 weeks): $1700
Lower Division I: (3 weeks): &850
Lower Division II: (3 weeks): $850
