About the Program
The
QuickStart program includes opportunities for students to participate in
activities that are cooperative in nature.
These activities involve the exploration of situations that encourage
students to become aware of how they think and to discuss theories and solutions
with their classmates. QuickStart
also provides students with opportunities to:

the Junior High campus

meet
new 7th grade friends

meet
members of the Junior High faculty

Enrollment
is limited to 15 students per class. We
follow a rotating block schedule that resembles the schedule we
follow during the regular school year to provide students with an authentic
Junior High experience. There will be a variety of homework
activities assigned Monday through Thursday. Students attend four classes per
day. Each class meets for 70 minutes a
day with a 10-minute break between classes and a 40-minute lunch.
