FAQ's

  • Question: What if my child is sent home with a fever? And what is considered a fever?

    Answer: A temp. of 100 or higher is considered a fever. If your child is sent home with a fever they must be fever-free for 48 hours before returning.

  • Question: How will I know if my child has head lice?  

    Answer: It could start with intense itching. You could notice dandruff-like white dots, no bigger than the head of a pin, that are glued to the hair shaft and not easily removed. You could see tiny, little brown wingless bugs.You will need a good light to check hair with. We recommend you check frequently

  • Question: What if it is head lice ?

    Answer: We recommend you call your doctor for advice. You could also make an appointment with any of the following resources.

    If you find that your student has head lice or  nits, please let us know. If a student has had head lice they must be cleared to return to school through the Health  Office.
