Campbell Hall in partnership with the Studio City Residents / Beautification Association and The Village Gardeners of the Los Angeles River are working together this May to take part in BIG SUNDAY. Big Sunday is in its 12th year and the Campbell Hall community is planning on sponsoring a variety of beautification projects in the Studio City area on May 2nd. Below is a list of projects we are encouraging people to sign up for. Some of you may also be wondering, what is Big Sunday? www.bigsunday.org should help in answering any questions you may.

We are planning on overseeing various projects located in Studio City, and we need different groups / teams to sign up and manage these sites and projects. On Sunday May 3rd, groups will go out starting at 8am and work together to complete whatever project they may have signed up for. Obviously some projects will take longer than others and if people would like to help with another we will be happy to direct them to needed areas. Next to each project is a rough estimate of how many volunteers each site may need and a minimum age requirement. In addition all projects must have adult supervision, and elementary kids should be accompanied by a guardian.  Groups will arrive at Campbell Hall and be given instructions to better direct their efforts. We are encouraging everyone to sign up ASAP so we can start to figure out the resources needed.

Big Sunday is the largest annual citywide community service event in America. It’s a time for community building — when volunteers of every age and from every walk of life — work together to help others. After all, when everyone helps, everyone wins.
Campbell Hall is hoping to expand this year’s involvement to even more next year and with a good turn the projects we commit to may have a greater impact.
