Alumni Welcome

Welcome to the 2009/2010 school year. Your Alumni Board of Directors has been busy all summer putting together events to keep you connected to your alma mater and the friends you made while at Campbell Hall or Argyll Academy. We hope you'll join us for several of these events throughout the year.

Here's some of what we have planned for you:

Alumni Mixer - We are once again offering this very successful event which will give you the opportunity to reunite with old friends, make new ones and even do a bit of networking in a relaxed atmosphere. Check out the events page for details.

Regional Event - This year the Alumni Association will be visiting alums in the Boston area. We will continue our tradition of bringing a faculty/stuff member with us. Please let us know who you would like to see and we'll do our best to bring them along. Watch for information in CLIPS and on the events web page.

Reunion - The classes of 2005, 2000, 1995, 1990, 1985, 1980, 1975, 1970, 1965, 1960, 1955 will be celebrating their reunions on June 5, 2010.

Argyll Academy Alumnae Committee - This committee has events planned throughout the year such as the Revlon Run/Walk in May and the reunion in June. Contact Torie Daves '78 at daves@usc.edu for information.

Distinguished Alumni Award - The Alumni Association invites nominations for the 2009/2010 Distinguished Alumni Award. The award was established in 2008 to recognize and honor alumni or former students who are noted in their field of endeavor or recognized for their expertise and good works. We celebrate these accomplished role models who inspire today's students to follow their own pursuit of excellence. To request a nomination packet, please contact Bree LeMasters Bailey '94 at breemichele@yahoo.com. The nomination deadline is April 12, 2010.

Parents of Alumni - The Parent of Alumni group is moving full steam ahead. We have four events planned for the year which include a cocktail reception, a community service project, the college care package mailing, and a wine tasting event. If you think your parents would be interested, please have them contact Marcia Berman in the alumni office at bermanm@campbellhall.org.

This is a very exciting year for Campbell Hall as our Capital Campaign for the Arts and Education Center kicks off. This new complex, which will transform the campus, includes: 24 state-of-the-art classrooms, an art gallery, a faculty resource center, outdoor learning spaces, extensive use of multi-media throughout and two levels of underground parking. As alums, you can support this innovative project by stretching your Alumni Annual Fund gift to include the Capital Campaign for the Arts and Education Center.

Make sure to check out the web site, CLIPS, and monthly eblasts for the latest information on events. If you have an idea for an event or a way of reconnecting with your classmates, please let us know. Your input is invaluable to us.
